The Breckenridge Distillery Announces the Arrival of Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon

The Breckenridge Distillery is proud to announce the long-awaited arrival of its Breckenridge Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry Cask Finish. They’ve finished their high rye Bourbon in PX finish barrels from a solera hundreds of years old from the Andalusia province of Spain.

The PX Sherry Cask Finish is bottled at 90 proof and will be available this month. It can be purchased in CO, IL, MD, DC, GA, KS, NJ, CT, and New York City at a suggested retail price of $75 for a 750ml bottle.

“It is very good, it has a great mouth feel and the color is beautiful! The PX barrel really compliments the high rye bourbon spice,” says Justin Sloan, publisher at The Bourbon Review. The high rye spice blends well in cocktails, like the Bag End Cobbler below!
