Co-Owners and operators of the Maple Hill Manor, in Springfield Ky, Todd Allen and Tyler Horton invite you to spend time at their new endeavor and the first Bourbon-themed Bed and Breakfast in the nation.  A recent $100,000 renovation of the historic Bruntwood Manor (designed by Kentucky architect James Marshall Brown) have transformed a beautiful historic Federal House into a fun, inviting and informative, hands on B&B experience.

The Bourbon Manor

Now called The Bourbon Manor, the house accommodates up to 24 for private events, including weddings, tastings, distillers discussions and Bourbon education. Each room, named after famous Bourbon cocktails, is as much of history lesson in Bourbon as it is a comfortable place to lay your Bourbon fuzzy head. Take for example, the Mint Julep Room, with soothing mint green walls, an antique armoire to hang your belongings, a jacuzzi tub for two and separate shower, views to the Bourbon barn and a secret garden, like the drink, it might be hard to just have one – night.

Before you turn in however, grab a drink at The Bourbon Manor’s own Bourbon Bar – The Bunghole.  No joke. Knowing that Bourbon lovers are well educated and have a sense of humor, the owners aptly named its bar The Bunghole, which is important in the distilling process, a way to check, add or drain the barrel while aging is taking place. Corked by a waterproof bung, the hole is closed off during most of the aging process. Housed in a remodeled historic 3-story tobacco barn, guests and the public can enjoy flights of Bourbon, micro-brews and tapas.
