The recipe is a classic pre-Prohibition-style Old Fashioned, but one of the things that makes the Bourbon Steak Old Fashioned unique is the use of saline or salt water to help elevate the flavors and create a distinct profile for the Old Fashioned.
INGREDIENTS:
☐ 2 Ounces Buffalo Trace Bourbon
☐ ½ Ounce simple syrup
☐ 3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
☐ 1 Dash Saline
Add a large ice cube or ice of choice to a rocks glass. Add all ingredients to the rocks glass and stir. Garnish with an orange twist.
