Christian Eiroa has produced a gem, literally. The name Azabache or “jet” comes from from a shiny black gem found in Honduras said to bring good luck. The San Andreas maduro wrapper is oily with a beautiful dark color. The Knob Creek 25th Anniversary goes well with this smoke. Coming in around between 120-125 proof (depending on the barrel) this Bourbon has the legs to stand up to the spice from the Honduran binder adding to full flavored experience.

This long anticipated release was ranked #8 in 2015 by Cigar Aficionado scoring a 94-point rating. The idea behind Symmetry is balance and the Fuentes achieve this perfectly by blending Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos which can easily clash. It’s also the first time an Ashton cigar has contained Nicaraguan tobacco. Rowan’s Creek is no stranger to accolades either, this high-rye bourbon is herbal and fresh with a hint of spice, you wouldn’t know it’s 100.1 proof with this cigar.

Releasing their first TAA exclusive in 2016 dubbed “Bill’s Blend” after owner Bill Palina. The wrapper resembles more of a Connecticut shade but is slightly darker. The cigar is rich and creamy, staying very mild throughout it’s burn with soft hits of hay and green tea. It accentuates Redemption High Rye Bourbon picking up spearmint notes and caramel as they hit the palette.
