Famed Master Distiller Jimmy Russell has been making bourbon in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky at Wild Turkey for 60 years. Growing up just five miles from the distillery, Jimmy followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, learning time-honored traditions and techniques uniquely suited to the heart of bourbon country. It’s a small community of men who have mastered bourbon, and within this brotherhood, Jimmy Russell has gained a reputation as “the master distillers’ master distiller.”  From the first selection of grains through the entire distillation and aging process, he has fused experience and wisdom to create the finest examples of America’s spirit.

Jim Rutledge has been the Master Distiller at Four Roses since 1995. It’s a vocation that requires the use of every one of his considerable talents.  As a member of the inaugural class of the Bourbon Hall of Fame, Jim watches over the character, quality and consistency of each barrel of Four Roses Bourbon. “Mr. Four Roses,” as Jim has come to be known, takes both his passion and knowledge about making Bourbon with him wherever his travels take him.

Heaven Hill Master Distiller, Craig Beam, continues to practice his family’s craft for distilling, aging and selecting some of the world’s most critically acclaimed Bourbons. At the distillery, Craig is joined by his father Parker, who works alongside his father in much the same way as Parker did years before with his father, Earl. Together, the two are responsible for making sure that the Bourbon that is produced at the Bernheim Distillery possesses the same high quality and consistent taste consumers have come to expect from Heaven Hill’s Bourbon portfolio.
