If you love bourbon, bacon, and Buffalo Trace, you’re in luck this weekend. Breckenridge Hogfest kicks off Friday in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado, full of bacon, whiskey, live music, and more, all brought to you by Rocky Mountain Events.

The weekend begins on Friday, August 23rd with a Bourbon Pairing Dinner sponsored by Buffalo Trace Bourbon. Guests will sip on their bourbons paired with bacon and pork culinary delicacies from Chef Michael Irwin at SAUCE restaurant.

Saturday’s Grand Tasting offers a huge selection of bourbons, whiskeys, and craft spirits to sample for anyone with a General Admission pass to Breckenridge Hogfest. When guests get hungry, they can taste through a la carte bacon-inspired dishes from local restaurants along with free bacon samples from River Bear Meat.

VIP guests will have exclusive access to the Slifer, Smith and Frampton VIP Lounge on Saturday, where they’ll be able to try rare pours like Old Rip Van Winkle 10-Year. They’ll also be able to beat the crowds and enter an hour early to taste their favorite spirits at the Grand Tasting.

Finally, on Sunday morning, cure your hangover at the Bacon and Bloodies Brunch mixed with Wheatley Vodka. A full brunch buffet will be spread out at SAUCE – with bacon as the central ingredient.
