Lovers of classic cars, rare whisky, and international travel will soon have the opportunity to find them all in the same place.
The Balvenie Distillery and Morgan Motor Company are pairing up with Christie’s Auction House for the first time to offer fans the finer things in life. In an auction unlike any other, whisky lovers can cast their bids on a trip to Scotland, a custom-made convertible roadster, and a collection of rare single malts.
The online lot, which is expected to fetch up to $150,000, starts off with The Balvenie DCS Compendium Ch. 4. These 5 single cask, single malt scotches range in vintage from 1971 – 2009, all distilled by the longest tenured Malt Master in the world, Daniel C. Stewart. He’ll lead the winner on a behind-the-scenes tour of The Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, showcasing their commitment to every step of the distilling and aging process.
The winner will drive away in a bespoke cream two-door V8 Morgan roadster complete with Balvenie branding on the leather headrests and interior. This one of a kind convertible is valued at $80,000, while The Balvenie DCS Compendium is valued at $40,000.
