The “A” represents it being the first release of 3 annual drops (others being “B” and “C”). The “1” noting the debuting month, and the “24” being the year it splashed.
ABOUT THE RELEASE: A124 is a Small Batch clocking in at 124.2 proof, is uncut, and is aged in the brand’s traditional 6 – 8 years per Heaven Hill. The mashbill being 68% corn, 20% wheat, 12 % malted barley.
