As if Bourbon wasn’t enough proof that the Heavens smile on Kentucky, the state is also lucky enough to be home to prime viewing ground for the upcoming complete solar eclipse. From August 18 – 21st, Casey Jones Distillery will host a full four days of live music, Bourbon tasting, and more to celebrate this once in a lifetime astronomical event. They have also distilled a special Casey’s Cut Total Eclipse Moonshine.

The distillery is located in Hopkinsville in Christian County, KY, directly on the center line of the totality for the eclipse. The festival promises to wow guests with tours and tastings, hot air balloon rides, food trucks, and live music, as well as RV parking and camping.

The Total Eclipse moonshine is bottled at 100 proof, and commemorates the two minute and forty second event that will bring thousands out to small town Kentucky. More information on festival time lines, where to purchase Total Eclipse moonshine, and more can be found here.
