Woodford Celebrates Bourbon Heritage Month with Bourbon Heritage Southern Supper

Woodford Reserve invites you to celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month in Kentucky with the Bourbon Heritage Southern Supper at the Woodford Reserve Distillery. Enjoy distillery tours, an old-fashioned pig roast with delicious Southern sides, a cash bar featuring your favorite Woodford Reserve cocktails and a little bluegrass music to round out the evening.

On Saturday, September 30th, from 6-10 pm, Woodford will roast and barrel stave smoke a Stone Cross Farms whole hog, to be served with three homemade BBQ sauces – Signature Woodford Spice Barbecue Sauce (made with Ale-8-One ginger soda), South Carolina mustard BBQ Sauce, and Alabama White BBQ Sauce. House Bourbon brined pickles and shaved vidalia onion will complement the meats, while Happy Jack’s squash gratin, slow cooked collards, kale, and mustard greens with ham hock, onion, garlic, and hot pepper vinegar will come on the side. A salad of massaged kale, roasted pink lady apples, goat cheese, cranberry, candied walnuts, and sorghum vinaigrette, and Kenny Mattingly’s Farmhouse Cheese penne will round out the meal, while fresh pie from Midway Bakery will be served for dessert.

The cost will be $65 per person. Reservations are required – click here for tickets.
